Stripe Quilt
I was watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the Johnny Depp version) the other day and saw a quilt folded over the back of the bed of Charlie's grandparents - it looked like a log cabin but the stripes were done in such a way... so I was thinking about it and decided to make a quilt like that using some of the stripes in my stash. Here is what I have so far - it's going to be a baby quilt. This square is 15"x15".
Giraffe, version 1
I saw the cutest stuffed animals on this blog the other day, so I decided to make one. Here is my giraffe, front and the back. I used some ribbon for the mane but ended up cutting it in bits, so I'm going to make a different giraffe with embroidery floss for the mane and tail, and I have a pile of colorful embroidery floss just waiting to be cut.
ATCs
I used the Postcard Challenge theme for April "How Does Your Garden Grow?" for these ATCs. The background is quilted fabric, with paper flowers and words, and buttons stitched on to the center of the flowers.

Simple Card
Hotpress watercolor paper with torn upper edge plus patterned paper cut into squares plus glue. The card is ~ 5x7" so the scrap squares are a little over 1" each.
