This is an interesting design I saw on a woodcut by Michael Ostendorfer, 1520, German, exhibited in 'The Baroque Woodcut' at the National Gallery of Art. This is my crude sketch taken from a church window in that woodcut printing. It has cool implications in color studies for a wall hanging (the places in the design where the paisleys and the diamonds interact could be color-blending between the colors of the paisley and diamond).
